Eligibility Criteria

To sponsor family members to become Canadian Permanent Residents, candidates are required to meet the below minimum requirements:

Age- 18 years or older
Residency Status- Candidate must be a permanent resident of Canada
Financial Support-
- An agreement signed by candidate and their relative committing for candidate to provide financial support to their relative if necessary
- For a spouse, common-law or conjugal partner, financial support support to be provided by candidate for 3 years
- For a dependent child, financial support support to be provided by candidate for 10 years or until child turns 25
Family Members Allowed- Spouse, Common Law Partner, Conjugal partner, Dependent Children, Parents, Grandparents, Siblings and cousins, Unmarried orphaned grandkids under 18 years, relatives (Restrictions apply under certain categories).
